What To Expect

People

We love people! You (yes, you!) are welcome with us. If you are more comfortable in jeans than a suit you are welcome! If you are more comfortable in your “Sunday best” you are welcome! We want you to feel comfortable. Sit wherever you are comfortable, feel free to ask questions, and be yourself.

Worship

We believe in worshipping passionately! Our worship style leans towards modern music including drums and electric guitars. We want everyone to feel free to worship God in a real and heart-felt way. That often includes clapping, singing, & lifting hands. However it can also include moments of silent meditation and listening for God’s voice. Everyone is free to worship as they feel led as long as it is God-focused and not unnecessarily distracting to other worshippers.

Kids

We believe that church belongs to toddlers, tweens, teens, and adults. We worship together. However we also recognize that children need to hear the Word of God in a way that they can relate to. So after worship kids 11 and under go to “Generation Church.” The classes are split into three different age groups that have a snack, make crafts, play games, and hear stories all with the purpose of helping them learn about the Word of God and experience His love.

Preaching

We believe in preaching the Word of God in a way that affects our lives. Expect about 35-40 minutes of preaching filled with the scripture and related to the issues facing us today. There are moments of laughter, moments of serious introspection, and moments that challenge us to live more completely as God has called us to live.

Communion

We have communion at the end of every service. There are no special qualifications except believing in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. We encourage you to have communion as a family together with your children.

After high school Pastor Dan spent fifteen months traveling throughout Mexico and Central America with a missionary/evangelist holding healing crusades and preaching the gospel. Once upon a time Pastor Dan met the most wonderful woman in the world and then married her. He and his wife Maria are in the midst of living happily ever after. Pastor Dan now serves as the Worship Pastor and Youth Pastor at Gallupville Gospel Church. He has a heart to see young people embrace the call of God for their lives, and to lead people into the presence of God through worship.

What We Believe

We believe that Church is more than a building. We believe that the Bible has something to say about every area of our lives. We believe that the life of a Christian is marked by the supernatural and yet relatable to the person who doesn’t know Christ. We believe that reaching the next generation is one of the most important things we can do. We are committed to bringing the transforming love and healing power of Jesus Christ to every man, woman, and child in our region. We believe in growing; growing in faith, in love, in compassion, in thinking, and in numbers. We believe in impacting our world through prayer, people, and finances. We believe that God wants every person to live an abundant life, achieve a significant destiny, engage in fruitful ministry, and provide effective leadership. Most of all we believe that God has a great plan for your life. Whether you’ve failed or succeeded God has not given up on you being more than you are right now.

Core Beliefs We believe the Bible, in its original languages, to be the only inspired, infallible Word of God.
( 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe the Godhead consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One God revealed in three persons.
(2 Corinthians 13:14, Genesis 1:26 , Genesis 3:22, Genesis 11:7)

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ,
(Luke 1:26-33, Isaiah 9:6)

in His virgin birth,

in His substitutionary, atoning death,
(Isaiah 52:13-15, Isaiah 53:1-53, Romans 3:22-26, Romans 5:8)

in His bodily resurrection from the dead,
(1Corinthians 15:1-8, Romans 4:25, Mark 16:1-14)

in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
(Mark 16:19, Acts 1:9, Luke 24:50-51, Philippians 2:9-10)

and in His imminent personal return to earth in power and glory.
(Acts 1:11, Acts 3:21, Hebrews 9:28, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Daniel 7:14)
